The Upland Walkup Hunts will be conducted by Jenny Horstman, formerly of Wasilla, Alaska. She is an experienced guide and dog trainer who most recently guided at the High Desert Hunt Club in California and the Falcon Ridge Hunt Club in Anchorage, Alaska. She will be guiding with Gabby, a Drahthaar who has received many retriever, pointing dog and versatile dog titles and Arrak, a young dog in training with certified pointer and retriever credentials. Jenny will be offering bird dog training for all pointing dogs at the Training Center at her residence in Fort Ann in Washington County. The total cost for a half day hunt with lunch is $650 plus tip with the release of 12 pheasants. You may include up to three hunters in this package. Additional pheasants may be added at a cost of $22 per pheasant. Harvested birds may be smoked and mailed to your home for a nominal fee. Return to Hunts page
